Vegetable Crops

Develops and implements a coordinated program of education and problem solving research in the areas of field crops and vegetable crops production. Information is developed locally and gathered from various research stations and specialists, and disseminated via the news media. telephone, newsletters, meetings, and personal contacts with farmers and agriculturally related business people. Help is provided to the industry to identify problems and find solutions, and maintain a dynamic, ongoing program that meets the needs of the producers and related industry in the areas of field crops, vegetable crops, and water and soil management.
