BIG DIG DAY JUNE 5, 2020
‘dig deep’ to support the program you care about
June 5, UC Agriculture and Natural Resources and the UC Master Gardener Program launch our independent statewide giving day! We call it Big Dig Day—a day to ‘dig deep’ to support the program you care about. We invite you to support our mission to extend sustainable gardening practices in thousands of community, school and demonstration gardens across California.
Now more than ever we know the value of community, outreach, and science-based information. In times of crisis—and beyond, we are here.
By donating to the UC Master Gardener Program and UC ANR you extend the knowledge and resources of the University to your community. Mark your calendar, spread the word, and stay tuned for more details!
Join us at midnight and be the first to give — or visit us anytime during the 24 hour giving day. Make your gift then share your support on social media using #BigDigDay and #DigDeep or call a friend to let them know what’s happening.
We hope you will join us on June 5!
Madera Master Gardener program
On World Environment Day—we aim to deepen awareness of the need to preserve and enhance the environment. By donating to UC ANR Madera Master Gardeners program, you support the programs, research, and youth development to improve the lives of Californians.
UC ANR delivers solutions to local problems in such areas as farming, nutrition, veterinary medicine, water quality and conservation, and offers programs for youth and families. The effects of these efforts have been widespread - from the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat, and the fibers which clothe us to the programs which sustain our natural environments and provide educational programs for youth.
UC ANR and Madera Master Gardener program, benefits from the generosity of individuals, corporations and foundations that support our efforts to meet California’s toughest environmental challenges. An investment in UC ANR represents an investment in California's present and future.
Join us at midnight and be the first to give—or visit us anytime during the 24 hour giving day. Make your gift then share your excitement on social media using #BigDigDay and #DigDeep or call a friend to let them know what’s happening.
