Madera Master Gardener training class 2024
Madera Master Gardener program has a new training class starting in January 2024. The training class will be hosted by the Merced Master Gardener program.
About the Master Gardener program
Any Madera County resident 18 years or older is welcome to apply. Merced Master Gardeners are hosting the training class in 2024. Madera residents interested in becoming a Madera Master Garden need to use the application link below.

UC Master Gardener Volunteer Application
Applicants must demonstrate effective communication skills, the ability to work with the public, willingness and ability to fulfill volunteer hours.
There is a tuition fee of $200. Partial scholarships are available.
For working with the public, the UC requires that trainees be fingerprinted and pass a background check.
Merced Master Gardener Class Information Sessions:
September 9, 2023 and September 23, 2023. Both sessions will be held at the UCCE -Merced County Classroom, 2145 Wardrobe Ave, Merced.

Madera Master Gardener program
The Three Sisters Demonstration Garden is a large project developed by University of California Cooperative Extension Madera County Master Gardener's program in collaboration with Madera Community College Center as a permanent resource for residents of Madera County.
The Madera Master Gardener volunteers will hold a Meet the Master Gardener Night in August. Come and find out more about what we do in the community. Date to be announced soon.
