Peach & Nectarine Fungicidal Treatment

In wet years  it may be necessary to apply a dormant fungicide application more than once.  To prevent peach leaf curl, spray with a fungicide after the leaves have dropped from peach and nectarine trees, usually in late November, or December.  During particularly wet winters, apply a second time in early spring, just as buds begin to swell.

Product options include the fungicide chlorothalonil (active ingredient in brand names Daconil, Fung-onil, and Ortho Garden Disease Control, and others), and copper ammonium complex (brand name Liqui-Cop and Kop R Spray Concentrate).

Read the label carefully and follow directions exactly as stated for most effective treatment.  Carefully follow all safety precautions and container disposal instructions.
